Rescue Guidelines: "Three Dos and Four Don'ts" – Save More Whale and Dolphin Lives!

Anyone who knows Cetacea knows—
our love for whales and dolphins is more than just words.

We firmly believe:
“If we live by the ocean, we must live in harmony with it.”
That’s why we only run one eco-friendly whale-watching tour a year—never for profit or overexposure.
Because we understand:
The appearance of wild cetaceans isn’t always a delight—
sometimes, it’s a cry for help.

In 2024, a total of 484 stranded whales, dolphins, and sea turtles were reported across Taiwan.
80% didn’t survive.
Marine pollution, ship strikes, plastic ingestion...
They need our attention, and more importantly, our action.

If you ever discover a stranded animal, stay calm and observe,
immediately call 118 (Coast Guard) or contact a marine mammal rescue group.
Never push the animal back into the ocean.
While waiting for professionals, refer to the "Three Dos and Four Don'ts" shown in the image to increase the chances of a successful rescue.
