Description
Suitable for: Only those who hold the Basic Freediver certification are eligible to participate!
This course is perfect for those who have stayed in the advanced experience phase for a while, those still in the practice stage, or anyone who wants to dive deeper into freediving!
Choosing the upgrade means stepping into the ocean and becoming an entry-level open water freediver.

SSI Basic to Freediver Level 1 Upgrade
The upgrade fee is $12,000. Those who upgrade within six months after obtaining the Basic certification are required to review the subjects! ❗️
⚠️ This upgrade is not a guaranteed class; you must meet the Freediver certification standards to receive the certification. ⚠️
Course Content
- Subject Review: 3-4 hours
- Pool Session: Approximately 2 hours
- Ocean Sessions: Approximately 3-4 hours (2 sessions)
- Video Review: Approximately 1-1.5 hours
🌟 Hengchun Area
- Whale Eyes Location: Search "Whale Eyes Freediving" on Google
- Pool Location: Xiaowan Pool
- Duration: 3 days and 2 nights
- Class Size: Classes start with one participant
- Features: Flexible scheduling, but please note that during long weekends, you must coordinate with the instructor’s available time.
🌟 Taipei Area
- Pool Locations: Nangang Sports Center or Songshan Sports Center
- Ocean Location: Zhaoming Palace
- Duration: 2 days
- Class Size: Classes start with two participants
🌟 Off-Island Areas (Liuqiu, Orchid Island, Green Island)
- Pool Location: Instructor handles the reservation
- Ocean Location: Dependent on location and current sea conditions
- Duration: 2 days
- Class Size: Classes start with three participants
❗️ Taichung Diving Cube cannot be used as an open water site for the ocean session. ❗️
⚠️ The above fees include:
SSI International Certification, skills assessment, online study materials, exclusive system app use, pool entry fee, instructor fee, sea area insurance during the course, GoPro recording.
⚠️ Cetacea does not cover transportation or meals; they are the participant's responsibility.
